April 17 2010, 11:49 am He's been at it again - the king of the course! This time he's one of the first 20 people in the North West (and possibly the UK) to complete the FA Mentoring course. This 6 hour course is designed to support those who wish to develop their mentoring skills, to understand the role of the Mentor, to develop the interpersonal skills required to become an effective mentor as well as developing reflection as a learning tool. It supports participants to develop skills in a safe and positive environment and supports the FAs strategic goal to raise standards. Any club wishing to attain the highest Charter Standard Award (Community Club) must have a coach attend this course by July 2011 so we are ahead of the game on that one!
