Crosfields First Module 2 Coach...

Congratulations to last year's Coach of the Year and Chair of Mini-Soccer, Paul Smalley, who has recently completed the FA Youth Award Module 2. This is a brand new 24 hour course delivered over 4 days, which gives those who have an ongoing involvement in coaching young footballers an opportunity to improve their knowledge in a range of key issues around developing different types of practice to meet the needs of young players. Paul is the first coach in the club to achieve this qualification, and was joined on the course by full time staff From Manchester United’s Academy, Bolton Wanderers, Wrexham FC and other Charter Standard grassroots clubs. Crosfields has one of the best qualified group of coaches among Junior Football Clubs, with 9 Youth Award Module 1 coaches and now 1 Module 2 qualified coach. Any coach who has completed Module 1 of the Youth Award can progress onto this course and Crosfields will meet the cost. The next available dates at Liverpool County FA are at the start of August.
