Super Coaches

Congratulations to three more Crosfields JFC Coaches who spent this half –term holiday updating their coaching skills. Martin Pitt (U8), Dave Sharkey (U10) and Marina Hunter (U11 and U5) have gained the new FA Youth Award Module 1. This brand new qualification forms the first part of the FA Youth Award and is aimed at coaches working with young players. Module 1 looks specifically at developing the right environment for 5-11 year old players to learn and develop. This 4 day intensive course focuses on developing the child and how best to create and maintain the right environment for development. Crosfields JFC now have 9 coaches with this qualification, more than any other grassroots junior football club (we think). Any club Coach who has the FA level 1 qualification can take this Award and will be supported by the club in doing so. Well Done Martin, Dave and Marina!
