Mid-season review

The girls completed their fixtures in the Kath Burgess League (http://www.cheshiregirls.net/html/Fixtures.htm) with probably their best team performances so far. They played really well in their first match against a very strong and fast Crewe & Nantwich side, losing 2-0. The second match - played in boggy conditions - saw a 1-1 draw against Warrington Town.
The Lions have a bye in the first round of the cup, so now have a break until the New Year, when the cup and (most likely) the Inter League await.
The coaches and parents look forward to further development and enjoyment in the second half of the season.
