Goals today from Josh W, Michael C and Tom B, and a man of the match performance from Matthew Adcroft, saw Croatia take 1st division Beechfield down to the last few minutes of the game. With Beechfield scoring in the first few minutes, another heavy defeat looked on the cards, but the boys put in their best performance of the season today and responded in kind, equalising on 2 occasions to make it 2-2 at half time, and then taking the lead early in the second half. Beechfield kept up the pressure and got an another and then with the clock ticking down got the winner, a cruel blow for a great performance today, and nearly a perfect send off to Nathan in his last game.
